Elevate Results Consulting’s six-year story is one of seeing a structural gap in how businesses handle HR, building an integrated solution, and now scaling that model so the firm becomes bigger than any one person by year ten.

How It All Started

I started Elevate Results Consulting with a simple but stubborn conviction: businesses were underutilizing HR, and it was costing them more than they realized.

I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, so I always knew I wanted to plant my own flag and build something that genuinely served business owners. As I moved through my career, I kept seeing the same pattern: HR was either missing from key conversations or reduced to an afterthought.

HR rarely had a seat at the table when leaders discussed where the business was headed. And then there are times we would see CFOs or office managers taking on the role of HR. This meant, as an organization, no one was setting clear expectations for HR-related matters.

Even more common, where HR did exist, leaders did not clearly explain their needs or strategies, nor did they provide enough information or resources to enable HR teams to implement guardrails or strategies. I could see the gaps, and I knew those gaps were creating compliance risks, cultural drag, and missed opportunities for growth.

During COVID, like many founders, I decided it was time to stop waiting and make the jump. I believed that if I could partner directly with executives, I could provide them with the HR guidance, leadership, and execution they weren’t getting—so they could grow with confidence instead of guessing.

How The Work Has Evolved

When I first launched Elevate Results Consulting, my mindset was straightforward: clients would get to work with me, and I would personally “do the work” for them. I saw myself as the one providing HR guidance, leading strategic conversations, and executing the tactical details.

Over the last six years, that vision has evolved into something more powerful and more sustainable for our clients. We have added team members so that Elevate is not a solo advisory relationship, but a true team supporting execution and decision-making. We have expanded service offerings to ensure clients receive integrated support across payroll, compliance, policies, and strategic HR infrastructure—rather than a disconnected set of tasks or projects.

There are absolutely days that feel overwhelming, because our work touches every part of a business: payroll integrity, benefits, performance reviews, organizational structure, and executive bandwidth. But there are also days where I step back and genuinely love what our team is able to do—stabilizing organizations, recovering leadership time, and giving executives the guardrails they need to lead at altitude.

The conversations that matter most

My favorite days are not the ones where everything is neat and tidy. These are the days when a client trusts me enough to open up about what is really happening in the business—even when it is not labeled “HR.”

Executives share margin concerns that began in finance and now affect staffing, compensation, and incentives. They walk me through potential restructuring, asking how it will land with employees and where the organizational design is likely to strain. In those moments, sometimes my role is to sit quietly and listen; other times it is to challenge assumptions, ask sharper questions, and slow down a rushed decision.

I use a simple test in those conversations: if you can explain the decision to me as an external partner, and I can clearly follow your reasoning, we are much closer to explaining it well to your employees. When leadership logic is clear at the executive level, we can translate it into communication, structure, and guardrails that employees can understand and trust.

Who we are now

Today, Elevate Results Consulting is not just “Erica doing HR.” It is an integrated strategic HR infrastructure partner for growth-minded leadership. We combine tactical precision, logistical guardrails, and strategic partnership into a single disciplined framework so executives are not forced to choose between payroll support, compliance help, or high-level HR advisory.

Our team has grown in both capability and confidence, and we operate with a clear focus: stabilize the tactical execution layer so leaders can operate at executive altitude. That means payroll is handled with rigor, policies and processes create real guardrails, and people strategy is actively aligned to where the business is going—not just where it has been.

We see our role as creating executive stabilization, not just HR support. That shows up in the way we anticipate risk, surface blind spots leaders may not see, and create standardized frameworks that replace improvisation with intentional structure.

We strive to meet clients where they’re at—building the HR function alongside its business leaders and their internal HR teams.

Our Ten-Year Outlook

Looking ahead to our ten-year anniversary, my goal is clear: Elevate Results Consulting must be bigger than Erica Roelike. The firm should be recognized in the market as the team that quietly stabilizes growing businesses—even before those businesses realize how much they need that stability.

By year ten, I want Elevate to be widely known as the organization that helps executives move from reactive HR to integrated infrastructure, with a team that can step into complex situations and bring order, clarity, and direction. I want our name to signal to leaders that their risk exposure will be reduced, their time will be protected, and their people strategy will finally match the ambition of their business.

Most importantly, I want every client we serve to feel that Elevate is a long-term partner in their growth, not a vendor they call when something breaks. If, at ten years, our clients can say, “We could not have grown this way without the infrastructure Elevate helped us build,” then this business will have done exactly what it was created to do.
